2007 Aichi SN15A on Hino GD 500 4x2

Overview

This well-appointed 2007 low K’s Hino GD has recently had its major rebuild completed and has been fitted with a fully refurbished 2006 Aichi SN15A live-line EWP.

An excellent example of a well-built unit with certification on the boom until 2022.

EWP Details

  • These well-known booms have a certified insulation rating of 46 kV (Cat C) and the full wrap-around bucket makes it a popular choice for live line work and the preferred style of bucket for gloving.

Truck Details

This Hino truck has 5 large tool boxes, chock, outrigger pad holders and flashing lights. We have fitted safety rails for safe bucket access which start at the rear on the access steps. The bucket stows behind the cab keeping the overall travel height to 3.1m.

We originally built this truck for a customer back in 2008 and have recently completed the 10 year rebuild certification after its first owner upgraded their EWP to a newer model. The Versalift LAT38-135-H is designed and manufactured by Versalift in Denmark to meet the growing need for a compact 4x4 vehicle with a versatile 2-person bucket on the back.

It is fast to set up, easy to operate, and of course safe and efficient to drive both on and off the road.

2022 TL3 Traffic Management on Isuzu FSD700 with Attenuator and arrow board

This truck is equipped for running efficient traffic management on NZTA designated Level 2 and 3 roads. We’ve used the well-respected TL3 Mash certified European Blade attenuator and AX Pivot Arrow board for our builds.

This carefully researched deck design carries everything required and in exactly the right location, all build around the reliable Isuzu FSD700 cab chassis. Specifically fitted to this truck to utilise its air suspension, this enables adjustment to the rear of the truck as it ‘settles’ over time with the weight of the attenuator so as to always maintain the required 280-330mm tolerance from road surface when activated.

Designed for ease of operation with automatic transmission, ergonomic deck access and easy to access sign and cone storage. The fold down sides and storage locations provide optimum roadside access.
