The Donghae DHT145AS is the most popular style of insulated boom for line mechanics in New Zealand.

Fitted on the Isuzu FRR600, it’s ideal for a wide range of urban applications from streetlighting or tree trimming around the lines, to full live line work.

The boom provides 16.5m of work height (14.5m bucket floor). The flul size 2-man bucket has a SWL of 250kg and a 350 degree swivel thanks to the extra arm mounted of the end of the boom. The four H Type outriggers offer plenty of correction for working on sloping ground and they can be short jacked enabling the operator to set up within very confined spaces. The straight telescopic boom has zero tail swing and is programmed to avoid contacting any parts of the truck or handrails.

When fitted to the short wheelbase Isuzu FRR600 truck, it offers an extremely tight turning circle and plenty of payload and space for onboard storage. Stainless steel toolboxes with drop down doors are standard and additional storage can be provided to suit the application.
