WEL Networks, the sixth largest electricity distribution company in New Zealand, has chosen Waimea Group as their trusted supplier for specialist utility vehicles. We recently spotted their team using multiple Waimea units on a job in Hamilton, New Zealand, perfectly illustrating the importance of these trucks for safety and efficiency.
WEL Networks serves the northern and central Waikato region, ensuring reliable power for over 100,142 connections across 7,021 kilometers of lines and underground cables.
Our collaboration with WEL Networks has allowed us to provide a diverse range of custom-built specialist utility vehicles. This includes everything from line crane trucks for heavy lifting tasks to EWP (Elevated Work Platform) bucket trucks for reaching high voltage lines safely.
