The Challenge

Will’s challenge was firstly the availability of the right specification Hydrovac and then the commercial hurdle of funding the equipment as the wheels started turning in his business. He then needed the reassurance of service support and back-up. All pretty daunting on the first steps into business!

The Solution

Will reached out to Waimea Group where he worked closely with Maska Lewis who used Waimea Group’s planning system to identify an Allvac® AV7000H as a suitable build coming through production which was locked in for Hydrex Ltd. Will was then able to focus on his business commitments such as hiring and arranging contracts while Waimea Group removed all the risk and complexity of a truck build. The financial hurdle was overcome as Waimea Group’s rental division was able to fund the provision of the first truck which arrived and went straight into work.

Will purchased the Allvac® truck 12months later having built up equity in the machine. With Will’s approach and professionalism, Hydrex has gone from success to success and Waimea Group are proud to have supported them on their journey with three Allvac® AV7000 Hydrovacs now on the fleet via a mix of ownership, hire to buy and rental supporting him in his business operations.
