Donghae DHT120 on Isuzu NQR500 Truck

The Donghae DHT120 is one of the most compact straight insulated telescopic booms available in New Zealand. Fitted on an Isuzu NQR500, it’s ideal for a wide range of urban applications from streetlighting and low level live line work to tree trimming around lines.

The ultimate tight urban unit: Turn on a dime and zero traffic lane encroachment with its ‘straight outriggers’ and no tail swing!

The straight telescopic boom provides 14.3m of work height (12.3m bucket floor) and 7.5m horizontal reach. The end mounted full size 2-man bucket has a SWL of 200kg and a 180 degree swivel. The boom has zero tail swing and is programmed to avoid contacting any parts of the truck or handrails. Rear bucket stow means a lower travel height, provides safer bucket access, and faster access to the job directly out from the rear.

The four outriggers go straight down rather than the traditional H-type which extend out either side of the truck. This enables the operator to set up within a parking space with no part of the truck or boom intruding into a traffic lane, for example.

When fitted to the short wheelbase Isuzu NQR500 truck, it offers an extremely tight turning circle and plenty of payload and space for on-board storage.

Stainless steel toolboxes with drop down doors are standard and additional storage can be provided to suit the application.

The Donghae DHT120 can also be fitted to the Isuzu NPS450 4×4.
